Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Bret Stephens will speak about the future of American foreign policy in a visit to Kenyon College. His talk, to be held in the Gund Gallery’s Community Foundation Theater, is sponsored by the Kenyon Israel Club and the Center for the Study of American Democracy (CSAD).
Stephens is a foreign affairs columnist for the Wall Street Journal and was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for commentary in 2013. He also serves as the paper’s deputy editorial page editor and is a regular panelist on the Journal Editorial Report, a weekly political talk show broadcast on Fox News Channel.
Prior to his work with the Wall Street Journal, Stephens was the editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem Post. He was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2005 and won a South Asian Journalists Association prize in 2006, the Breindel Prize for excellence in opinion journalism in 2008, and the Bastiat Prize in 2010, among other awards.
Stephens is the author of “America in Retreat: The New Isolationism and the Coming Global Disorder,” published in 2014 by Sentinel Books.
