Friends of the Library to hold annual Program

Will it be Marley, Scrooge, Bob Cratchit or Tiny Tim? No telling who might show up when the Mount Vernon Players present a free performance, “Dickens and his Characters,” for the Friends of the Library annual program, Sunday, December 3, 2:00 p.m. at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, 201 N. Mulberry Street.

In addition to ghosts and a good dose of Christmas cheer, a musical segment will be performed by a guest quartet. A short annual meeting will be held prior to the performance.

The program is free and open to the public of all ages. Refreshments will be served.
