Jim Middleton selected to receive MVNU Clinical Leadership Award

From Knox Community Hospital:

Join us in congratulating Jim Middleton, RN, MSN, Chief Nursing Officer at Knox Community Hospital!

Jim has been selected by the nursing students and faculty at Mount Vernon Nazarene University School of Nursing and Health Sciences to receive the Clinical Leadership Award.

The award has been created to recognize nurses who demonstrate excellence in mentoring, exhibiting characteristics of professional nursing and role modeling leadership while working with our students in the clinical setting.

One student was noted that they admired that Mr. Middleton “always had a pair of scrubs available in the event that he needed to run to one of the floors for assistance”.

Before joining Knox Community Hospital, Mr. Middleton was the Director of Respiratory and Head and Neck Institutes at the Cleveland Clinic.

We’re especially proud and thankful to have Jim Middleton serving and teaching in our community. Thank you so much for all that you do. Congratulations!
