Knox County Libraries helping with Food for the Hungry

Food for Fines through December 9. The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County and the branch libraries in Fredericktown, Danville, and Gambier, will sponsor a Food for Fines campaign running to December 9.

During this time, library fines may be paid with canned or boxed non-perishable food items equal to the value of the fine. Goodwill donations of food or money will also be gratefully accepted. In addition to food items, the library will accept Knox County Humane Society approved brands of pet food.

All collected food and money will be turned over to the Food for the Hungry Drive with donations staying in the local communities. Phone: 740-392-BOOK
