Three Found Guilty in Mount Vernon Municipal Court

MOUNT VERNON – Judge John Thatcher found three guilty after hearings and trials
were held at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on July 18, 2018.
Tia Moore, 29 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Wrongful Entrustment. The Court
sentenced her to pay a $75 fine.
Anthony DaGraca Pinto, 35 of Columbus, was found guilty of Failing to Stop at a Stop
Sign. The Court sentenced him to pay a $50 fine.
Erika Kirk, 35 of Utica, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence. The Court sentenced her to pay a $700 fine, serve ten days in jail, with 170
days suspended, placed her on two years of community control with the following
condition: complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days, and suspended her
operator’s license for two years.
Assistant Director of Law Brittany Whitney represented the City of Mount Vernon in the Moore case.
Director of Law Rob Broeren represented the City of Mount Vernon and the State of Ohio in the remaining cases.
