Description: THIS IS A MULTI-STATION CONTEST WITH ONE WINNER SELECTED FROM ALL COMBINED ELIGIBLE ENTRIES FROM BAS BROADCASTING RADIO STATIONS This is an addendum to the General Contest rules of which apply unless specifically stated Mix 102.7 WCPZ, Coast Country 100.9 WMJK, 1450am WLEC, Eagle 99 WFRO, 92.1 The Wolf WOHF, Oldies 1300am and 100.9fm WMVO, and 93.7 The Super Q WQIO.
Contest is sponsored by Lake Erie Shores & Islands Welcome Center & BAS Broadcasting, 1281 North River Road, Fremont, Ohio, 43420. The promotion begins on April 29th, 2019, 6:00am EST, and ends May 26th, 2019 at 5:00 pm EST. Promotion is void where prohibited. By entering, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these promotion rules.
Eligibility: No purchase necessary to enter or win. This contest is open only to legal U.S. residents 21 years of age or older. Employees and immediate family members of employees of BAS Broadcasting, and their respective parent companies, affiliates, sponsors, subsidiaries, agents, and their advertising and production agencies are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
How to Enter to Win: From April 29, 2019, 6:00am EST to May 26th, 2019 at 5:00 pm EST, participants can sign up at the following BAS Broadcasting stations websites: mix1027.com – coast1009.com – wlec.com – wohfradio.com – wfroradio.com – wqioradio.com – wmvo.com. Contestants can enter only ONE time per day regardless of which station website they enter on. In the event of multiple entries, only the first entry received on that day will be considered valid. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
MAIL-IN ENTRY METHOD:
Alternatively, you may enter the Sweepstakes by hand-printing “Shores & Islands” Sweepstakes, what prize you are entering for, along with your name, age, address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, and e-mail address (if applicable) on a 3” x 5” card and mailing the card in an envelope to: 1640 Cleveland Rd., Sandusky OH 44870.
Prizes: Daily One winner will receive the Grand Prize which includes: An overnight stay at Hotel Kilbourne in Downtown Sandusky($249), Four (4) Jet Express passes ($160), One (1) day long golf cart rental from AB Carts ($80), $50 Gift Card Put-In-Bay Brewery, $50 Gift Card Dockside Café, $25 Gift Certificate Great Lakes Popcorn, $20 Gift Certificate Toft’s Dairy, $60 Gift Card Paddle & Climb. Hotel Kilbourne stay is subject to blackout dates provided by the client. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein such as parking, etc. are solely the responsibility of the prize winner and guests. No responsibility is assumed by businesses for canceled or delayed events.
Prize Awarded: Deadline to enter the daily contest is at 5:00 pm EST, Sunday, May 26th, 2019. ONE (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected randomly from all entries on Friday, May 31st at 9 AM EST. Entrants will be contacted by phone, and if contact is not made, by email, by Troy Baumgartner, Promotions Director at WCPZ/Mix 102.7 BAS Broadcasting, using the phone number and email addresses provided. In the event we are unable to contact the winner within 7 (seven) business days because of no answer and a full or non-functioning voice mail, and incorrect/non-functioning email address, a secondary winner will be selected.
Acceptance of Prize: Any portion of any prize not accepted by winner shall be forfeited. Upon forfeiture for any reason as stated herein, no compensation shall be given. Winner representatives will be solely responsible for any and all local, state, and federal taxes, as well as license and registration fees, transportation costs, gratuities and other items of an incidental nature. The winner agrees to the use of his or her name and likeness in publicity without any additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By entering this contest, the winner representative acknowledges that BAS Broadcasting, and all other sponsors and venues, have the right to publicize and broadcast each winner representative’s name, voice, and likeness, the fact that he or she won, and all matters incidental thereto.
Limitation on Liability: By entering this contest, each entrant forever discharges and releases BAS Broadcasting, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, claims, causes of action, suits, and demands of any kind arising from or in connection with the promotion, including, without limitation, responsibility for property damage, loss of life, or personal injury or death resulting from or in connection with participating in the contest or from or in connection with use or receipt of the prize(s), however caused.
Sponsor’s Reservation of Rights: These official rules are subject to modification by BAS Broadcasting. In the event of a dispute, all decisions made by BAS are final and binding. Sponsor(s) reserve(s) the right, in its/their sole discretion, to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or the operation of Sponsor’s/Sponsors’ web site(s), or who otherwise acts in violation of these official rules. Sponsor(s) further reserve(s) the right, in its/their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, or modify this contest if, for any reason, the contest is not capable of completion as planned (including, but not limited to, for the following reasons: infection by computer virus, technical corruption, force majeure, or non-authorized human intervention that compromises or affects the administration, fairness, integrity, security, or proper conduct of the contest)
Recipient may be asked to sign a release allowing us to use photos and video on our website, Facebook, Twitter or other social media.
