First Day Hike

This year’s First Day Hike will look slightly different due to COVID-19, but it will still be a great day to get outside and renew your commitment toward being physically active at the park!

This year’s hike will be a self-guided walk (map will be handed out with specific route) featuring different stations throughout the park where volunteers will provide information about that area of the park – historical, natural, and interesting stories.

NO lunch will be provided this year; the park will provide bottled water. There will be a bonfire where walkers can warm up prior to or after their walk.
