Freddies stay unbeaten, Highland downs Danville

The Fredericktown Freddies remained unbeaten as they defeated Clear Fork in non conference Tuesday Night 67-51. The Freddies raced out to a 12-3 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 31-14 at the break. The Colts came out a different team in the third quarter outscoring the Freddies 21-6 but Fredericktown won the fourth period 30-16 to stay undefeated.

Caleb Sheriff led all scorers with 25 points as Fredericktown improved to 11-0 on the season, Sheriff bagged 5 threes while Kaid Carpenter poured in 21 points and hit 4 triples. The Freddies as a team knocked down 12 3’s.

Highland held a 21 point lead on the Danville Blue Devils after three quarters Tuesday Night, the Blue Devils outscored the Scots 16-4 in the fourth quarter in a 46-37 loss at home to Highland. Jordan Bellamy had 13 points and 4 rebounds for the Scots. Max Payne and Wyatt Weckesser had 8 points each for Danville.

East Knox lost at home to Smithville 55-39. Weston Melick scored 20 points in the loss for the Bulldogs.
